Sharing shares…

21 Dec

The holidays are here again. Everyone is in the mood for gift giving. You would not think of giving a time off for trading, would you? It is not because it is the holidays that a trader would put off trading or smarter strategy for the upcoming year. In fact, with the holidays, I can very well think of a lot of things connected to trading.

Here is a list of how the holidays may very well be connected to trading:

1. The holidays signal the end of the year. And this is a good time to evaluate your success or failure in trading.

2. The holidays welcome an upcoming challenge of the New Year. This is a good time to map out a stronger, smarter strategy to trading. Visit http://www.smarttrading.com.au to know more.

3. The holidays inspire gift-giving. I read an article that inspires giving shares as a gift for the holidays. I think it is a brilliant idea.

4.It is the time of the year for bonuses, incentives and good news. What better news to break before the year ends than having one of my favorite trading books, Smart Trading Plans by Justine Pollard landing in the Top 10 list of Australia’s leading finance magazine, Money Magazine.

5. Finally, I remember the movie Trading Places starred by Dan Aykroyd and Eddie Murphy. One of the peak scenes happened during a Christmas party.  During the holiday season, it is a good time to catch up on your favorite movies and have a movie-marathon.  A comic trading film is a good starter.

Well, have a merry Christmas and a bountiful New Year ahead!
